About Me
Haley Chandler is a costume designer and theatrical artist pursuing a Production Entertainment Design BFA with an emphasis in costumes at Lindenwood University. With a passion for storytelling through fabric, texture, and silhouette, Haley has quickly established herself as a versatile and dedicated member of the Lindenwood theatre community.
In just four semesters, she has taken on a diverse range of roles that showcase her breadth of experience and commitment to the craft. She has served as costume designer for two productions, bringing characters to life through thoughtful research and creative vision, and as assistant costume designer for one show, collaborating closely with lead designers to execute their artistic concepts. Additionally, Haley has led the hair and makeup departments for two productions, ensuring that every performer's look supported the overall design vision.
Her hands-on experience extends to wardrobe crew work on two shows and assistant props design for one production, giving her a comprehensive understanding of how all design elements work together to create cohesive theatrical experiences. For the past two years, Haley has also worked in the Lindenwood University costume shop, where she has honed her technical skills in construction, patterning, and garment alteration while deepening her appreciation for the collaborative nature of theatrical production.
